Our opinion about CaseIH C42

motor medium power, powered by diesel, typical engine capacity, effective but still average (typical) unit, good value and performance for the price and costs, performs well if we compare costs and capabilities, 3 cylinders, perfectly matched the rated speed, lighting rather typical, very good PTO, brake without power, disc brakes, probably too light for equipment of this class, on difficult terrain or large farm rather unsuitable, a rather large and rather long, traditional 2 wheel drive, hydrostatic control, no synchronization in a box, a lot of gear in the front, classical number reverse gears
